Dayak Hudoq Mask From Borneo

The Hudaq mask is one of the most unique mask from Borneo and are used by the orang ulu tribe. This mask are used in harvesting festival during the hudoq festival. This mask represent an hornbill spirit with its big horn on its long beak with big eyes. It come with a rattan hat which are worn together with a cloak normally made of leaves. The mask is estimated to be from the late 1900s . Condition with minor chip on its chin over all still in very good condition. Comes with a pair of earring which is originally attach.
