Batak Shaman Charm / Ritual Lime Scraper

This expressive object with a ancestor figure feeding a reptile is made of antler. It is used by Batak Shaman from Sumatra as charm and also used as a tool for rituals.

It functions as a scraper for make medicine or pupuk  for used in charms and ritual. Collection from the late 1980s.
