Batak Talking Stick Calendar Inscription

During gathering or meeting Batak tribe will use this stick as a button to take turn to speak. Only those who hold this stick is able to speak. It is made of wood, buffalo bone, horn and finely unscripted with a calendar and other auspicious symbols. Late 20th century.
