Borneo Dayak Mandau Headhunting Sword

Borneo are known to some of the most fearsome head hunter in the world. Here we have a mandau or headhunting sword which is use by the Dayaks. They believe that the soul of the sword lies in the handle and this mandau is  intricately carved with a image of a war god which is believe to be an amulet.
