Borneo Dayak Shaman Box Lumpung Manang Iban

This container is known as Lumpung manang which means shaman’s container.

It is use to store important charms and substances which are used by Iban shaman.

The box is decorated with 3 protective around the container and 1 figure on top of the lid.

The body of the box is made of tree bark carved in low relief with Iban design.

The cover is carved in wood with tree bark rim and rattan binding.
