Brass Death Mask From Indonesia

In the old tradition of javanese culture, the royals and the rich would covered their family who has passed with a mask that are made of precious metal before there are buried or cremated. This particular mask is made of brass and was never used but possible would be made for use as some family would still practice such custom. Such traditions are very rare and so are mask as such.
