Dayak Bidayuh Ceremonial Ritual Shield

Bidayuh are one of the main tribe from the east coast of Borneo. Known for their healing rituals and shamanic craft the Bidayuh are experts when it come to ritual healing.

This small shield is use during such rituals and are use to ward off bad omen and to protect the villagers from a curse or dispute. The shield is made of wood depicting a human figure with protective elements.
