Dayak Mandau sword Sheath Ornament

This is a ornament that was made for a dayak sword sheath.

Its is carved out of deer horn with traditional kenyah kayan design depicting the tree of life, hornbill and Aso dragon.

This symbol are only reserved for high ranking individuals in the kenyah kayan community.

Center piece – H – 10 x 7 x 1 cm ( with base H – 21.5 cm  136 g)

Left piece – H – 17 x 2.5 x 1 cm ( with base H – 28 cm  169 g)

Right piece – H – 16 x 2.5 x 5 cm  ( with base H – 27 cm  161 g)
