Papua House Guardian Figure Korwar

In Papua indonesia also known as iran jaya today lays an exotic place called the cenderawasih bay where such figure were found. Such figure were use by the tribes in cenderawasih bay as a house guardian as they believe the presence of an ancestor figure would bring good luck and would protect them from harm. Made of buffalo bone and feathers from the cassowary bird this figure stand like a light in the room that shines out.
