Batak Auspicious Calender

This is an auspicious calendar made of a buffalo bone. Inscripted with ancient symbols of the batak calendar, compass, geckos, pattern, number, season, dragon and traditional motif from the ancient civilization. This calendar has 30 days which is similar to the Luna calendar and use are to determine auspicious occasion. The 4 line going on the calendar represents the 4 seasons. The compass show the direction of the occasion should be presented. The other symbols represents the preparations and offering for the occasion.
