Dayak pasir or pasir barito are dayak from the southern part of borneo are a minority. They are well know for the shaman which believe to possess special ability to heal. This image represents the shaman also known as the datu. Made of the  mangrove tree the presence of the image it self is believe to be able to heal the sick.
