Borneo Dayak Shield

This shield is collected from the dayaks from east Borneo from the Kayan kenyah tribes. It was use by the kayan kenyah for their traditional ngajat dance. Ngajat is a dance perform by man  during ceremonies and festival, It is also known as the warrior dance. Made of light wood and painted with a powerful amulet design of the war lord of the dayak believe which will protect them from their enemy.
