Borneo Hornbill Figure In Belian Wood With Baby Gecko Rinding On Its Back

This is a Dayak Iban Baby swing Hanger In the foam of a Hornbill with 3 baby gecko on its back riding. This was collected in the 80s from an ibanic long house from west Borneo.

Made of Iron wood or the local name belian it is very durable for a baby swing hanger. The foam of this piece Bird is very traditional and classic style of the Iban.

The condition is very good however there is a small chip on second gecko tail. Pls see photo for details.
