Dayak Mandau Hilt With Dragon And Guardian Figure.

Dayak are well known for their Antler carving work and does exceptional work of art. This sword handle is made of antler and is carved with dragon, a fierce intimidating face on the top with a monkey like figure on the back with spiraling detail on the bottom. This hilt is made by a dayak and was collected from a village from east Kalimantan Borneo.
