A slightly smaller sized, possibly a ritual mask; this example is completely rendered with beautiful original colors throughout. The carving is strong and the mask’s facial features are slightly distorted; an emphasized moustache like eyebrows and large open mouth aggressively exposing its teeth creates a very memorable image. The wood shows obvious age, exhibiting stress fractures and paint abrasion.
