Bilum ‘ is a healing figure used by melanau tribes in sarawak . They are a minority in Borneo and are highly sophisticated culture. They used such figure to heal their sick and to bring good Luck . The culture of this tribes are little known as they are a minority and very secretive about their shamanic practice as it is consider taboo in their society. Such figure are very rare as they are made of sago palm pith. collected in the 80s in Sarawak.

This Bilum with scaly body with its hands holding an object that representing a flying object with wings behind and a crown on it head represents a sky spirit ( Jin separangin).
