Borneo is the third largest island and well-known for its oldest rainforest. Some of the best wood are found in this island and the belian or irowwood is the king among the woods due to its density, beauty and its unique qualities. This piece of art here is and bowl made by Dayak kenyah craftsman and are delicately made with top quality selected wood and finish with Anlter end with traditioanal dayak motif called the aso dragon. Its shape like a boat with beatiful graining and smooth finish. This bowl is an old production from the 70s and now are very rare due to its scarcity of the wood.
